A RIGHT OF WAY STORY 25 YEARS IN THE MAKING....

CEO AND FOUNDER

HUTCH GOODMAN

"Twenty five years ago we embarked on what would become the only career I've ever known. Having sat down with  2,000 or so property owners, along with representatives of Fortune 100 firms, city mayors and small town farmers, I've learned a lot - not only about the right of way industry, but a lot about our country, and about myself. Today our team leverages these and many other project experiences to help our local public agency clients solve problems.  At the end of the day, public works exists to keep society going - and we wake up everyday to play our part, no matter how big or small."

A TIMELINE OF LESSONS LEARNED FROM MARQUEE PROJECTS AROUND THE COUNTRY...

PORT OF SEATTLE (1999-2001)

400 residential relocations, 10 business relocations, a well-organized property owner opposition to this $1 billion project, and preparation for a massive FAA audit, brought lessons in organizational management and political sensitivity!

N. Burien Phases 1, 2

PORT OF SEATTLE (2006-2008)

Dozens of full acquisitions and many more highly complex residential relocations, this project was the first exposure to assisting residents in extreme poverty, language barriers and exceedingly limited replacement property options.
